ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: A short Stana Katic – premiere tease

Kate Beckett has tackled many a difficult case over the course of “Castle” so far, but still, she may be bracing herself right now for something that completely blows her mind (and not in a cool way).

ABC released a short teaser for the upcoming season 7 premiere episode, and this already is putting forth its best effort to show us what a desperate, difficult state Stana Katic’s character is in:

“Season 7 picks up at the scene of that accident, right where the finale left off, in a premiere that promises to put Beckett through the toughest case of her career.”

Should you be afraid for Rick? Sure, but probably not in the sense where you are actually worried about whether or not he lives or dies. That doesn’t seem to be what we are really up against right now. Instead, more of the larger questions here revolve just around what sort of long-lasting implications this case could have on not only him, but his relationship with the woman he loves.

There are a few things that you have to remember here from the archives of this summer, beginning with the fact that this capture is tied to a new “mythology,” but something from Rick’s past that is going to come back to haunt them. It may not be a malicious secret that he has kept from Kate, but it is still something that will require explanation. This is a new way to test the couple, who may or may not actually be married by the time the premiere ends. We’re really hoping that the show is not going to pull the wedding rug out from under us after basically doing that on one occasion already.
