‘Arrow’ season 3: Who is branching out with ‘Scream’ role?
Is someone about to leave the “Arrow” universe? We wouldn’t go that far, but they could be rather busy at some point in the future depending on the success of another series.
Sources confirm that Bex Taylor-Klaus, who you likely know either from being Sin on The CW show or Bullet over on “The Killing” season 3, has been cast to play a part in the upcoming “Scream” pilot on MTV. Specifically, she will take on the role of Audrey Jensen, a young woman who is the daughter of a minister in the Lutheran church. Typically, being a preacher’s daughter on a scripted TV show is a sign that things are going to go very crazy for you. This role was originally cast with Amy Forsyth in the part, and is the one-time friend of series lead Emma Duvall (Willa Fitzgerald).
So what does this mean for the actress and “Arrow” in the end? At the moment, not a whole lot. The series has a ways to go before it even begins filming in earnest, so Sin could still be a big part of season 3. After all, she is not a character who appears in every episode in the first place, and she is also tied so much to Sara Lance that the only other way to bring her around right now would be through Roy Harper. Even Thea Queen is currently missing in action, given whatever she is up to right now when it comes to Malcolm Merlyn.
We’ll have to say what happens with the “Scream” pilot, but you do not have to wait at all for more “Arrow” news! You can see further updates over at this link, and be sure to head over here to target some more news in your email via our CarterMatt Newsletter.
