‘Doctor Who’ season 8, episode 2 spoilers: First look at ‘Into the Dark’
Is something creepy coming on “Doctor Who” season 8? Part of the fun of this show is that there are a plethora of different things that we can see unfold with a title like “Into the Dark.” It is not necessarily a sign that there are some dark times and tough circumstances coming up in the near future.
What we can tell you right now is that this episode, the second in this upcoming season starring Peter Capaldi, will revolve largely around The Doctor and some familiar foes with the Daleks. Not only that, but it will address a question that has been all over the press materials for this season. Just take a look at the official BBC synopsis now:
“A Dalek fleet surrounds a lone rebel ship, and only the Doctor can help them now… with the Doctor facing his greatest enemy, he needs Clara by his side … Confronted with a decision that could change the Daleks forever he is forced to examine his conscience. Will he find the answer to the question, am I a good man?”
This episode sounds really excellent if you ask us, and not the same sort of thing that you traditionally see in the second episode of the season. More often than not, this sort of excitement is something that you have to wait on until the final weeks with any other show. Luckily, “Doctor Who” is not any ordinary show. It’s one that uses its own imagination in brilliant ways, and that is something we’re very excited to see. The show premiers on August 23, so we’ll have more updates before then.
