‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 spoilers: Meet the ‘seductive’ Succubus

“Sleepy Hollow” is wasting almost no time when it comes to casting even more notable Biblical figures and creatures. After all, why not terrorize Ichabod and Abbie with as many different terrible things as possible?

The latest casting that we have here is in regards to the Succubus, who is a deceptive and infamous character. Per TVLine, we now also know who will be taking on this specific role of Lilith in Caroline Ford (“Lake Placid: The Last Chapter”). The site also included the following logline courtesy of executive producer Mark Goffman:

“You may have heard lore about the biblical creature called a Succubus. And as with all creatures on Sleepy Hollow, she comes with our own twist. Ethereal and seductive, Lilith drains her victims’ life force, leaving only desiccated husks behind. She’s drawn to desire, and hidden desires burn brightest, so she will reveal many secrets in her path of exotic destruction.”

She certainly sounds like a pretty intimidating character, and hopefully she is just as strange and powerful as the Lilith that came out of “True Blood” recently.  We’re mostly just intrigued about the idea of this show having more female villains, since whether your are looking at the horseman / Jeremy Crane or most of the other demons on this show, most of them do all seem to be male.

The new season of “Sleepy Hollow” will not premiere until September, and based on when we are hearing about this casting, it’s probably a safe assumption that you will not see this character immediately on the show. Hopefully, there will be plenty of other scary / cool stuff to tide you over.
