‘Ray Donovan’ season 2, episode 5 preview: An interrogation in ‘Irish Spring’
The one thing that you should know about “Ray Donovan” (at least if you don’t know already) is that with these characters, things are going to get worse long before they start to get a little bit better.
The episode airing on Sunday night carries with it the title of “Irish Spring,” which sounds much more refreshing than anything that happens here. After all, we have an interrogation between Cochran and Ray, some of the women on the show starting to become violent, apologies, and also politics. Basically, it’s an entire season of “Ray Donovan” in an episode, and Ray may even start to get enough information on Cochran to finally get him off of his back.
If you haven’t seen it already, you can get a few more details now courtesy of the official synopsis below:
“Ray gets compromising information on Cochran, who is interrogating Mickey. Meanwhile, Abby tries to have fun with her prospective Trousdale neighbors and gets closer to Jim, her cop friend; Marvin gives Bridget an earring and takes her to a party; and Ray brings Conor to apologize to Alex.”
One great thing to remember right now is with the 12-episode season that Showtime gives its dramas (which actually feels like a lot in the era of “Game of Thrones” only getting 10), there is a lot of story here left to tell. In other words, don’t think that we are getting near an oasis for Ray, where he’ll spend an episode relaxing on a beach somewhere.
