‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2: New promo art has Ichabod, Abbie reaching out
We’ve become a bit of a critic for TV shows and their promotional art over the past several months, mostly because we feel like there are way too many shows out there trying to pull a half-hearted effort into this. If you are just going to put out something cheesy and obviously-photoshopped, then why even bother?
Luckily, we don’t have any of these strong negative feelings at all upon viewing the new “Sleepy Hollow” season 2 art that Fox has just thrown out there into the universe. This one is sleek, cool, and dare we say intense? The art features Ichabod (Tom Mison) and Abbie (Nicole Beharie) reaching out towards each other, and it’s a nice bit of symbolism of how trapped the two feel right now. Just remember that Ichabod is currently stuck six feet under, while the Witness is currently witnessing nightmares while stuck in a dollhouse in purgatory.
The main reason that you should still have plenty of hope for these characters is rather simple: It’s not nearly as fun when the two are apart, and Abbie cannot interact with any of her fellow co-stars. We cannot imagine her or any other major character being trapped for too long going in the fall. With that being said, freedom doesn’t exactly mean success. They will be met with many new mysteries and problems, with much of them stemming from the fact that Henry Parrish is now on the loose, and not nearly so shy about hiding who he and what his true intentions are.
