‘Suits’ season 4, episode 7 preview: Louis Litt’s ‘We’re Done’ demand
Does “Pearson Specter Litt” roll off the tongue to you as a law firm title? Apparently, it does in the head of one Louis Litt, based on what we’ve seen now from Wednesday night’s new “Suits” episode “We’re Done.”
In the sneak peek that you can see over at TVLine, Jessica enters Litt’s office in hopes of finding a proper way to thank him for his recent help saving Harvey and the firm all sorts of time in this past episode. Naturally, Louis decides to go out of his way to ask for the one thing that it is almost impossible to give to him: His name on the door of the firm. Jessica balks at the idea of this, which only makes him seem to want it even more.
Of course, Louis is a pretty shrewd guy, and you therefore have to know that there is much more at play here than just him wanting a title and recognition. He’s also potentially covering his own you-know-what in the event that something happens and the firm goes belly-up. He wants to find a way to ensure that it is very hard to get rid of him in the event that it comes out just what he did in order to make Harvey’s life easier. At that point, he was so enamored with the approval that he couldn’t bear to mention that he did anything wrong in the process … such as allowing illegal activity.
