‘The Bachelorette’: Chris Soules on Josh Murray, Nick Viall as Andi Dorfman suitors
This past weekend marked the taping of “The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All,” which also of course marked a prime opportunity for many in the press to get their hands on some of the stars of the show who have been previously eliminated.
From one vantage point, you would think that Chris Soules would have gone into the weekend still hurting, given that he had the closest connection to Andi and therefore suffered the biggest heartbreak out of anyone who has left so far. However, we imagine that him being a potential frontrunner to be “The Bachelor” probably helps to wash away some of those feelings.
Speaking to Zap2It, Chris was even kind enough to share his thoughts about remaining contenders Nick Viall and Josh Murray … though he was pretty diplomatic in the process and did not exactly label one of them the favorite:
“I wish them both the best, especially having watched everything leading up to this. They’re good guys. Nick obviously chose to handle himself differently in the house with us — if you asked me this while we were still there, I would have said the complete opposite, Josh all the way — but after having watched it, clearly Nick and Andi have a connection and I hope that’s a real connection that he’ll carry forward throughout the rest of their lives [if he wins]. I’m on the fence, I think they both have different things going for them.”
We expected more of the guys to be in attack mode on Nick given the edit he had on the show, but Chris’ comments here follow along with some pretty positive ones that Marquel Martin made about him recently. While he may not have been great to everyone in that house over the course of the season, he did clearly also have his friends.
We’ll have more previews for this big special later this weekend, so be on the lookout for that. Also, you can sign up now in the event that you want some further TV scoop via our CarterMatt Newsletter.
