‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ spoilers: See the first photo, per Ryan Murphy
Do you want to know what Sarah Paulson’s characters will look like on “American Horror Story: Freak Show“? Well thanks to co-creator Ryan Murphy, you at least now have a tiny sneak peek.
This photo was first posted on Murphy’s Twitter account, and obviously the “bummer” part of it is that the only part of the two characters you really get to see is the back of their heads. If you want to get a better look, you’ll have to probably wait until either promotional photos are out, or the premiere of the show if the series is really intent on making you wait that long.
The idea of Paulson getting to play conjoined twins Belle and Dot is really all sorts of awesome, mostly because this is the sort of risky role that could get her awards-show attention. It’s also going to be one of the most challenging for the series to pull off, thanks mostly to all of the technical quirks that are going into making a character with two heads on one body. Will Paulson have a prosthetic attached to her? We’re guessing that it will be a combination of that, camera work, and also post-production CGI that all work together to bring these two to life.
You can also take this photo as a welcome sign that production on the season is now underway. Even though the setting for the story is Jupiter, Florida, the show is continuing to use the same locale in New Orleans that it did throughout the third season.
What’s your take on the photo: Are you more excited for the show to premiere than ever before? Sound off in the comments, and be sure to also head over here to snag other news related to the series. For some not-so-horrible TV scoop sent to your email inbox, sign up for our newsletter today.
