‘The X Factor’ notes: Avril Lavigne, Alex & Sierra, and Cheryl Cole
Avril Lavigne not going to be “fifth judge” – Could there really be a fifth judge on the new season of “The X Factor“? We have a hard time believing it, and probably for good reason.
For some reason, the British tabloids decided to smell a little blood this week with rumors that Avril Lavigne could be making the leap over to the ITV series for the 11th season of the show, even though four judges seem to be at times more than enough as it is. Luckily, we can confirm for you that the talk of this happening is bogus. As for the fifth judge rumors, we still doubt it, mostly because the show is already into the audition process.

It seems like there’ll be plenty of romantic songs on the album, and we’re stoked that there are 13 songs in total rather than just 10, which seems to be the bare minimum for most LPs these days.

Cheryl Cole ties the knot – A tiny update here when it comes to the returning “X Factor” UK judge: She’s married to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini. The two have only been together for a few short months, but she confirmed on Instagram with the following message:
“I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news… Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14 … We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together.”
