‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: Nominations, and Team America’s decision

Nicole -

The “Big Brother 16” live feeds were down for an extremely long period of time on Friday, especially when you consider that the only thing that was actually happening was the Nomination Ceremony.

Most of the events here happened just as everyone expected. Caleb and Jocasta were put up by Derrick, whereas Nicole chose Amber and Donny. While we predicted that the latter would go home, he hadn’t made a firm decision on it the last we saw on the feeds. She switched from putting up Victoria to him at the last minute, and he was apparently not very pleased about it. Derrick tried to have a conversation with him about it to calm him down, saying that he was not aware that was going to be happening, and there would have been more of a Team America meeting if there was some sort of an issue in regards to nominations. The only reason that there wasn’t is that it didn’t feel like there was going to be any reason to worry.

Even with this surprise on Nicole’s part, Donny is almost certainly not going to be going home come Thursday night. She has decided seemingly that Devin is the target given that she told him he was, and if for some reason he cannot be voted out, Amber, Caleb, or Jocasta could be in trouble. We’re interested to see if Caleb does throw the Battle of the Block later today, mostly because this would enable him to play for the Veto and help ensure that Devin does not win it.

One final note for now: Team America did discuss their task after nominations, and the plan is to claim that Zach is a cousin of Amanda’s. Given that they are both Florida residents, we get the logic here. However, Zach does seem like the kind of person who would go bonkers hilariously over this. We’ll have to see what happens.
