‘The Blacklist’ season 2: The latest addition to the proceedings
With that in mind, can you really blame them that the studio in Sony TV wanted to add some more talent to the mix? We certainly cannot. According to Deadline, writer/producer Michael Ostrowski (“Being Human, “Private Practice,” “Jericho,” and many others) has been added as a co-executive producer to the upcoming second season as a part of his new deal with the studio. This means another creative voice, and with a show that needs to have a procedural element to it to keep its current formula intact, this sort of addition is especially appreciated.
As for whether or not this means any change from the viewership standpoint, it’s unlikely. Obviously, writers and producers are unsung heroes, and if a show manages to improve, most just say “oh, it’s gotten better” without giving any though as to why that could be. Maybe this is part of the abstract, since it is hard to attribute any marked sign of improvement to a single person or a single storyline when there are so many components that go into something work.
In summation, what you need to know is that there are more people than ever at work making “The Blacklist” awesome, and we believe that it very well will be based on the track record.
