’30 Rock’ alum Tracy Morgan leaves hospital for rehab center; condition slowly improving

Tracy Jordan -When it comes to the condition of Tracy Morgan, his road to recovery is definitely more than a marathon than a sprint. This is going to take a very long time for the former “30 Rock” star to be released to the point where he can recover from that fatal collision on the New Jersey Turnpike at home, but we will continue to have updates every step of the way to the best of our ability.

The latest one that we have to share now is strictly that for the first time since the accident took place weeks ago, Tracy is now out of the hospital, at least. He has been sent, per his rep, to an undisclosed rehab facility where he can continue his recovery the rest of the way, and hopefully also out of the public eye since it was little secret what hospital that he was at. This is a promising sign, but it will still be at least weeks before he is ultimately sent home.

This accident also injured Morgan’s associate Jeffrey Millea, who has been recovering at around a similar pace. His writer and mentor James NcNair, however, died as a result of the accident. The driver in Kevin Roper has pleaded not guilty to charges that he has faced in court, claiming primarily that he is being victimized because there was a high-profile celebrity involved in the accident.

When Morgan does eventually recover, he will have a number of different options waiting for him, including his FXX series that was in development prior to the accident. It is tentatively scheduled to air at some point next year.
