‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 5, episode 2 video: New look at Lee Thompson Young tribute

If you watched the premiere of “Rizzoli & Isles” live earlier in the week, some of you may have caught the first promo for the Lee Thompson Young tribute episode “Goodbye” that airs on Tuesday. For those who did miss it, though (or who want to watch it again), we have it for you below.

The biggest takeaway from the preview is that TNT and the producers are not shying away from the tragedy here, and will put Frost’s death center stage throughout the entire episode. There will be another story going in in conjunction with this, but it is fairly clear what is going to be the most remembered part of the story.

This is going to be one of the most difficult episodes to watch, just as we are sure that it may be the hardest episode of the entire series for the cast to film. Meanwhile, this is going to be one of the hardest episodes to critique as a writer. The only thing that we can genuinely hope for when it comes to this is mostly that they do the character and Young justice, and allow everyone in the cast to have their moment, and for the character’s memory to continue to ring in the minds of everyone for the rest of the season and beyond. Just the moment at the end of the promo featuring Angie Harmon is difficult to watch, and that only lasts for a matter of seconds. We’ll have to see just what comes up after that.
