‘Glee’ season 6: See Darren Criss perform at Philippines benefit
For Darren Criss, this is really a unique situation since he is a triple-threat in many ways. We know that he is a gifted singer thanks to his time on the show and with his original musical; meanwhile, he also happens to be a great actor, and he also can handle the choreography of a major stage production. The world in some ways could be his oyster.
But now, we move forward to what is the moral of this story. Darren Criss performed last night at After the Storm, which is a benefit concert at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC (where he has performed before) in order to raise some money for Typhoon Haiya relief. One of the biggest moments was when he and apl.de.ap of The Back Eyed Peas (who hails from the country) took to the stage with him to perform one of the band’s biggest hits in “Where Is the Love.” It is incredibly gracious of Darren to take something like this on, mostly because of the fact that this is a cause that is often forgotten about after the fact, and Darren does have a very large following in the country.
