‘Bachelor in Paradise’ spoilers: First look at Chris Harrison on set

Regardless of whether or not you actually want a “Bachelor in Paradise,” you are going to be getting it anyway. After all, we now have some photographic proof of production.

The attached picture that we have here (per Entertainment Weekly) shows Chris Harrison at the show’s set in Mexico, which is where this show is going to be filmed over the coming weeks. Overall, though, this is still something that is incredibly difficult to really understand as a concept or define. We know that there is a cast based on the reports that have been made already, but the premise has not been announced yet, including if there will be eliminations, or how in the world a component of romance is going to work in this.

The only thing that we can say with some confidence is that this entire series is meant to be much more mainstream than “Bachelor Pad,” at least in that it is not meant to be one of the trashiest things that you have ever seen. There is a genuine effort being made here to keep things close to the original series, but in a somewhat more competitive format that doesn’t gross you out.

There are also at least a few more cast members being announced soon to go along with those we already know, and the sole reason that these names are being kept in the dark is because they may presumably still be on this season. We’d probably throw the name Marquel Martin in here as almost a given; unless he is the next Bachelor or he really just doesn’t want to do the show again, we have a very hard time thinking that they will not want him back for the entertainment value alone.

Can you really be excited about a show that is as nebulous as this one is right now? Let us know what you think below.
