‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4 spoilers: Casting the perfect man?

“Hart of Dixie” may not be on the air again until midseason (i.e. probably at some point early next year), but that is not stopping some of the first news and updates about the show from coming out.

This time around, we’re talking a little more about new characters than what is going to happen to Zoe, George, Wade, or any of the other established ones. According to TVLine, the show is currently casting the part of Dr. Henry Dalton, who is in either his late 30s or early 40s and basically possesses almost anything that someone could want. Women are instantly attracted to him, and he doesn’t make any of the men feel threatened just because he is around. All of this certainly sounds exciting, but wasn’t this Carter Covington to an extent? What makes this guy all that different? It may just be that he has even more money, is older, and also has connections to a number of powerful people.

The biggest mystery to us here is what sort of connection he has to Bluebell, and then why he would choose to get himself associated with this crazy town where a series of unpredictable things are constantly occurring. The only thing that we can for sure predict is that there will be a shorter season 4, and with Rachel Bilson pregnant, production is making a few twists in order to accommodate her. We’re just as excited than ever, but also very much aware that we have a long and tireless few weeks ahead trying to figure out for the life of us what is going to happen next.
