‘Britain’s Got Talent’ final spoilers: David Walliams says wild card act chosen
For those wondering just how much rehearsal time the wild card act for the “Britain’s Got Talent” final is going to receive, it will not be that much less than the rest of the acts. After all, the contender for Saturday’s episode has now been officially selected.
This news was confirmed in a post on Twitter by show judge David Walliams, and there are a number of interesting contenders depending on what direction the show decides to go with it. From the categories of song and dance, the only two candidates that we foresee being a part of it are Bailey McConnell and Innova Irish Dance Company (the latter mostly because of where they represent). The show already has acts like this in the final round, and they may be trying to change things up to a certain capacity.
This leaves us with some other interesting candidates. Light Balance was phenomenal in the semifinals, but probably did not land in the top three thanks to a good night, and for this sort of act doing better in person than while watching a show. Some of the luster is lost with that. Some other interesting possibilities from a variety standpoint could be Bolddog FMX Stunt team, impressionists Jon Clegg and Jenson Zhu, or in a surprise many Patsy May. We feel like a comedy act is a safe bet, given that the show does not have a real comedic presence in the final as is with it being mostly singers, dancers, a magic act, and a violinist. The favorite to win is tough to call right now, but we’d say that Bars & Melody and Jack Pack are the frontrunners.
