‘Glee’ season 6: What is Amber Riley and Jenna Ushkowitz’s latest project?

It is very well possible that neither Amber Riley or Jenna Ushkowitz are going to be series regulars on “Glee” season 6, especially based on whatever sort of other projects the two have going on. Obviously, we’d love to see it happen, but there are so many other things that currently hang in the balance.

Rather than speculate on that forever, though, why don’t we instead spend a minute or two chatting about what we know for sure the two ladies are going to be up to this summer? Director Adam Shankman announced that for his upcoming production on “Hair,” which is taking place at the Hollywood Bowl from August 1-3, he is bringing in the likes of these two ladies along with a pretty star-studded cast. So far, the likes of Kristen Bell, Beth Behrs (“2 Broke Girls”), Hunter Parrish (“Weeds”), singer Mario, and more are going to be involved.

There are obvious benefits to having most of these people on board. You know already that both Riley and Ushkowitz can sing their faces off, and Bell voiced and sang the part of Anna in “Frozen.” Therefore, they have one a nice lineup for what could be an exciting three-night event.

When it comes to the future of Jenna and Amber on “Glee,” the good news is that Ryan Murphy has already said that all original members of New Directions have been invited back. Ultimately, it is all a matter of whether or not they want to come on board.
