ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4: Three characters who clearly deserve good news

The writers for “Revenge” are currently hard at work on the show’s fourth season, and that means that they have quite the enormous challenge on their hands. Not only do they want to tell a story that stays true to the characters, but they have to continually shock you time and time again. This show relies heavily on that element of surprise, and they are going to have a tough time topping the reveal that David Clarke is actually still alive.

So rather than think about ways to raise the shock factor, though, we want to take a slightly different approach to this article in looking at some assorted people who actually do deserve to have something great happen to them. These are people who have been through the wringer, lost loved ones, or have just had to put up with a ton of you-know-what over time.

Jack – He’s already lost a wife, and had to deal with a massive number of terrible situations created by Emily Thorne. While it’s to early to tell if he and Emily are endgame, eh definitely deserves to have at least someone in his life.

Charlotte – Poor Charlotte. She lost Declan, she’s been kidnapped, and she also has disappeared from the show a number of times. Just a consistent storyline for her would be worth celebrating at this point.

Nolan – Nolan has had some happy stretches, but they have been with people who are either extremely cunning, or have some psychopathic tendencies. He’s such a light for Emily that we don’t want to see him consistently get dragged down.
