‘Mistresses’ season 2 spoilers: Major complications for Savi, others

For all “Mistresses” fans, Monday night is when you can officially start rejoicing: The long wait for new episodes is finally over! The show will be coming back on the air on ABC, and hopefully also bringing to the table almost everything that you would want and then some.

Here’s what we know for now about some of the events that will unfold Monday night. According to TV Guide, the story will pick up a good eight months after the events of the first season and the big accident with Savi. It’s not going to be much of a surprise (or any of a surprise, for that matter) to learn that she is actually still alive; this is the sort of thing that happens with cliffhangers, and unless you learn that someone is leaving the show, the person at the center of such a story typically survives.

What will be a little bit more of a surprise to many is going to be figuring out who she is spending time with. “Mistresses” is a juicy show, so you know that this is probably going to drop a few jaws around the country.  Just in case this is not shocking enough, here is something else to look out for: No matter who Savi ends up spending her time with, another person is going to enter the mix a little later in the season that will mess things up in a big way. After all, this is another popular TV trope when it comes to this show.
