‘Supernatural’ season 10: Misha Collins’ next TV gig is…
Want to see more of Misha Collins on TV? Then we have some very good news for you now courtesy of his next major appearance on The CW.
The man behind Castiel himself confirmed that on June 16 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, he will be on the latest “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” episode hosted by Aisha Tyler. Misha is the first “Supernatural” cast member to make an appearance on the sketch show, but he is not the first star from a CW series. Candice Accola of “The Vampire Diaries” and Wilson Bethel of “Hart of Dixie” are just two examples of the personalities that have been brought over to the show. Obviously, one of the big advantages for the network to book familiar actors is that it allows for many opportunities to cross-promote. Not only that, but it’s a chance for the actors to show that they can do more than just play a dramatic role.
Granted, in the case of Misha we already know that he has serious comedy chops. He gets to have moments of levity on “Supernatural,” and is also one of the funniest tweeters and panel guests out there. He really gets the concept of being famous in this modern world of technology, and often uses it as a platform to do really cool stuff. (Obviously, the point here that we’re getting to is that we love Misha and would watch him in just about anything … especially a show that already features Colin Mochrie and allows for so much rampant silliness.)
