‘Ray Donovan’ season 2 video: Future plans and a cast photo shoot teased

Are you ready for “Ray Donovan” to come back on the air? Well, you are going to be waiting for at least a little while. The new season of the series kicks off on Sunday, July 13, and in the video below, you can get a quick take of everything that is coming up courtesy of some of the cast.

Speaking in this video includes the likes of Liev Schreiber and Jon Voight, and there are many important subjects of conversation. We start things off here of course with a discussion on whether or not Ray can come back on everything that happened last season, and that is a difficult thing to provide an answer to right now. It all depends on what sort of attitude he brings to the table from here.

Also, this video gives you a sense of what the cast photo shoot was like for this season, given that it included a number of other themes that feel a lot like a more masculine version of “Scandal.” Given that Ray is basically a violent Olivia Pope with serious family issues, this all seems to be appropriate.

There are some other changes coming for the show, with the biggest one being that it will merely have to deal with the weight of airing without a lead-in of a good show like “Dexter.” (Yes, we’re still calling it a good show despite that terrible finale.) This year, it is being paired with another big show in “Masters of Sex” that had a pretty decent lead-in for the first season in “Homeland.”)
