‘Supernatural’ season 10: Hopes for Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, and more
Can you believe that there will be a tenth season of “Supernatural“? Early on in the show’s run when we were constantly concerned over its future, this was something that we barely ever thought of as a possibility.
However, that possibility is now reality, and based on some of the various teasers that we’ve written about over the past several weeks, we are gearing up for what may actually be the most shocking and dramatic cliffhanger that we’ve had in a long, long time (with a nod to “True Detective” with that quote).
While at the time of this writing it is impossible to know anything concrete about what lies ahead (the scripts have not been written yet, and everything else is locked in production’s brain), we’ve at least compiled, as we have with some other shows that have recently ended, a number of things that we’d like to see unfold.
1. More Bobby – We only had a little bit of Jim Beaver at the beginning of the season. We realize that it’s tough with the character dead, but can’t we still dream?
2. More Charlie – This is a little more feasible, given that Felicia Day’s character is alive and still a part of Sam and Dean’s world. Thanks to “Slumber Party” being early in the year, it feels like forever since we’ve seen her.
3. Sam and Dean telling each other the truth – While we’re saying that Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles should be able to spend this whole season jumping through flower gardens, we’d like to see them more unified towards a common enemy. After all, shouldn’t they know by now that Winchesters who lie to each other are really just doing themselves a disservice?
4. A different use for the angels – We’re thrilled that Misha Collins is sticking around, but let’s not have a regurgitation of the angel war story all over again. Why not involve Castiel with some other storylines? (We personally loved him as a human, mostly because all of that stuff was just so fun.)
5. A new foe – Could it be a new demon, or could God show up and turn out to be something different than he’s hyped to be? What if there is a creature from a very different universe? While it’s possible we could see more Metatron, Abaddon is dead, and while we love Crowley, we like this show having more than one notable villain around most of the time.

…..or make destiel canon. that would spice up the series and it’s something many of people in the fandom want… ALSO a musical episode involving Gabriel (bring him back for real this time, though)

I hope that the boys find a way to overcome the demon in Dean and that Dean finds himself quickly- do not prolong th demon splitting the boys- I hope SAM finds a way to bring Dean back- and that they find New demons to fight. Bring brother Adam back for a while- or at least Bobbie and even Meg- that would be an interesting hour.

No way, it’s the 10th season and Bobby deserves another cameo. I also want Charlie back, and even Dad (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) please if there’s any way! And hey, Adam coming back has crossed my mind more than once too. I’d also like to know what happened to Chuck, and the Winchester bro’s mom. Hey, tvmonkey, I agree Sam needs more emphasis–as the strong, brainy hunter he is, not Dean’s sidekick. He’s spent too much time being something else–blood addict, soulless, angel possessed. Maybe now that Dean’s something very different, he will have his chance.

I also chime in on the brothers unified and getting along. I’m so tired of watching them fight half the season. I realize it does help build the storyline, but it’s exhausting at times. I much more enjoy watching them get along and joke around. If there’s redemption in Dean’s future, please say there is!, I would love to see their parents redeemed too. It’s tragic to think the only family member who isn’t a demon now is Sam. What a horrible fate for the Winchesters to become something they’ve spent their entire lives battling!

Sam to have a storyline of his own, relationships outside of Dean and to start building a life away from Dean. Sam needs to interact with other people more and he desperately needs a POV especially since Dean has the mytharc. This season Dean had the POV, myth arc and emotional arc in the most one brother focuses season of the show ever. I dont care what happens with Dean he can have all the storyline [people want him to have but Sam needs to have equal story telling too. Jared shouldnt be having 3 times the numbers of days off Jensen has.

I would love to see Chuck/Carver. Maybe as God himself….Could be interesting. Would also like to see Sam and Dean more unified, maybe back to the old witty Dean at times… :)

Adam is a brother!!!! It doesn’t matter that he’s half! he’s still family!! Bring him back!! He could be the buffer that’s needed between Sam and Dean. Just bring him Back!!!!!

Please, no more Bobby. He’s dead and gone, let him stay that way.
I want Dean to have a story of his own where he’s just as important and heroic as the show keeps telling me Sam is.

I hope to see Kevin again before everything gets straightened out with the veil. Also (as mentioned above) Sam and Dean not lying to each other would be nice. I prefer the brothers united against a common foe instead of fighting each other. And last but not least…Dean smiling.
