ABC’s ‘Mistresses’ season 2 spoilers: Where the story picks up for Alyssa Milano, cast

Are you ready to see the future of “Mistresses“? You are most definitely going to get a chance come June 2, which is when the show returns to ABC as a part of the Monday-night schedule. The great thing about this start time is that it’s really not going to be that big of a wait at all. Tonight marks the last Monday of sweeps, and then next week is Memorial Day. (Odds are, you may be at a barbecue instead of around your TV set anyway.)

The first episode of the new season is fittingly titled “Rebuild,” and if you look at the synopsis below, you can see what Alyssa Milano and the rest of the cast are going to be up to next:

“Eight months later, Savi, having cheated death, makes the most of her second chance. Karen struggles to rebound from loss, both personal and professional. April’s life gets interesting when old friend, Mickey (guest star Joseph May), returns and pushes her to make some changes and Joss tries her hand at a new job, party planner to wealthy Angelenos.”

This is one of those shows that may change a number of circumstances for most of the characters, but the tone and the general feel will most likely stay the same. This is a primetime soap through and through with romance, passion, and plenty of betrayals. Why give people anything other than what they want?

The biggest question to us is whether or not people will continue to gravitate towards the show this summer, and remember that it is even still on. After all, there are so many options in the summer.
