‘Dancing with the Stars’ 18 finale: Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea, Amber Riley to perform
Monday night marks the first part of a two-night “Dancing with the Stars” finale, and we have the scoop now on everyone who is going to be performing. What can you expect? In the end, some big performances … and not just from the dancers.
The lineup of performers for the show includes reigning champion Amber Riley (performing a song in “Colorblind” that she did on “Glee” recently), and also current contestant Cody Simpson. They will be joined by flavor-of-the-moment Iggy Azalea (behind the song “Fancy”), Ariana Grande, and Christina Perri. Also, get read for the first routine performed together by Meryl Davis and Charlie White. They’ve already dominated the world of dancing on ice, and now it is to be seen if the two can give a great performance on the dance floor together, as well.
The for remaining pairs are Meryl (with Maksim Chmerkovskiy), Candice Cameron Bure (with Mark Ballas), Amy Purdy (with Derek Hough), and James Maslow (with Peta Murgatroyd). If Maks can pull off the victory, then it will finally give him the Mirrorball Trophy that he has been hoping for ever since his first appearance years ago. Meanwhile, Derek could pad his overall lead, or James and Peta could get a nice trophy to go along with the flurry of dating rumors.
To us, Candice is clearly the underdog and the biggest surprise. What helped her get her? We feel like her dancing and having Mark as a partner helps, but also her own conversative stance and attitude. This appeals her to a part of Middle America that doesn’t often have a representative on the show.
