‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11: Would Sandra Oh return in some capacity?

If you are still reeling from the “Grey’s Anatomy” finale right now, all we have to say to you is that we very much understand. After all, we are right there with you. It was a tough, emotional hour at times that did eventually lead to Cristina Yang getting the ending that she deserved: Getting to lend her talents to a swiss hospital, and to also have one of her star pupils there for the ride in Shane.

But is this really the end for the character’s story on the show? Trying to come up with a definitive answer to this question may be a little bit more complicated than you would think. Whether it is season 11 or some time further down the road, Sandra Oh told The Hollywood Reporter that it could happen. However, it would depend on whether or not she was asked to return, and then if she was able to do with whatever else she has going on:

“We talked about that when I told her I was going to leave but we haven’t talked about it again. There are certain things that Shonda and I talk about once and then we leave it because we want things to happen without pressure. I told her, ‘If you guys want to finish it out however you want to finish it out, I’d be more than happy to come back. And if itdoesn’t fit in that way, I totally understand. I just want you to know that I’m available.’ Who knows! I might be doing something fabulous and it might not work out but I did say, ‘Yes, of course I would.'”
