‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5, episode 24 (finale) spoilers: Kensi, Deeks, and awkward moments

At some point Thursday night, we know that the finale for “NCIS: Los Angeles” season 5 is going to be stuffed full of intensity and crazy moments. However, before it comes to that, why not have a little bit of fun?

The sneak peek video below is all about the Deeks and Kensi characters, and some of what they are going to be dealing with … which in this case is not altogether serious. Instead, their biggest obstacle is just being forced to deal with the fact that there is a DEA agent involved here who definitely seems to be interested in Eric Christian Olsen’s character, even though he is not particularly keen nor interested in returning the favor.

Are we going to have a situation like this further accelerate the relationship between our beloved twosome? Not necessarily. While Deeks and Kensi have made progress towards finally being able to be together this season, it’s already been hinted that not everything is going to completely come together for them until next season. Given that this episode is the first part of a two-episode event carrying over into the fall, that should not be that big of a surprise.

With that being said, we’d like to see season 6 start off just with the two characters really getting together, since they each bring on such unique energy, and the two agents in a relationship is a story that at least in the “NCIS” world has not been touched on enough. There are a ton of cool things that can be done with it!
