‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10, episode 23 preview: Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh, and aftermath

On Thursday night, “Grey’s Anatomy” is going to air another new episode that will look at a variety of issues … but one of the major ones is whether or not we are going to see Meredith handle the potential departure of Cristina from Seattle very well.

This is going to be a difficult transition for her! While this is not the first time that the Cristina character has said goodbye to Seattle, but the last time, she came back! This time it is a little bit different, and you get the sense that Ellen Pompeo’s character is being forced to keep it together just because Cristina is having to deal with so much other stuff.  For example, Owen may be forcing her to pick her own replacement, and making life as difficult on her as possible. Then again, he may also want to try and commit to her in some other different ways.

For those of you wanting to see some stories focusing on some other characters, you will get some of that over the course of the final episodes. However, you also better be prepared at the same time for a lot of stories focusing heavily on just Sandra Oh. There will be opportunities to touch more on Alex, Bailey, and some other familiar faces next season, and they have to set the stage for making sure that Cristina exits in the best way possible.
