‘Elementary’ season 2 finale spoilers: Will Watson and Sherlock fall apart?
The working relationship between Watson and Sherlock has always been both a fascinating and entertaining one, but we would certainly understand if Watson would want to use another word to describe it from time to time: Frustrating. After all, she has to take care of Holmes’ every need, and there are many occasions in which that is not an easy thing to do.
This is where we are left in an interesting dilemma going into the “Elementary” finale airing a week from Thursday. After all, we are having to wonder to ourselves whether or not this relationship can be built to last in the long-term, or is it going to be doomed by personality conflicts before it goes any further. Here’s what we can say about the finale for now: The title of it is “The Grand Experiment,” and you will be seeing more of Mycroft as his story potentially comes to a close for the time being. Take a look at the dramatic synopsis below:
“Rising tension between Sherlock and Watson bring their partnership to a crossroads, but they endeavor to put their differences aside while they help Sherlock’s brother, Mycroft, who faces accusations of treason and murder.”
In case you are wondering in regards to another character that has been important to Sherlock’s story, Natalie Dormer will not be appearing again as Moriarty this season. The show happened to cast a popular actress in the role, and unless they have the character reconstruct her face, this is probably the hand that they have been dealt with in that she’ll make sporadic appearances.

I honestly do NOT ever see Sherlock and Watson become romantically involved from their partnership however I cant see Watson however, ever leaving Sherlocks side or vice versa! In an odd sort of way they need each other and they both LOVE solving mysteries which will allow Joan to put up with Sherlocks almost unbearable self at times because she knows he is truly brilliant! Besides in the original Sherlock Holmes since the very beginning of all those great novels, where did you ever see Sherlock WITHOUT Watson? Or vice versa:)
