NBC’s ‘Hannibal’ season 2, episode 11 preview: ‘Ko No Mono,’ Mads Mikkelsen revelations
Friday night’s “Hannibal” episode ended with several open threads, but the major one is the state of Freddie Lounds. She certainly appears to be dead, as Will Graham likely saw the writing on the wall if she walked out alive.
Of course, the trouble that comes from this is that he may be under suspicion again from Jack and the BAU team over what happened. The synopsis below for next week’s “Ko No Mono” suggests that Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy have plenty more great material to play with, and that there are also going to be answers and more good stuff for Mason and Margot Verger:
“The truth of Freddie Lounds’ disappearance is discovered by Jack and his team. Alana expresses her concern over Will’s mental state, but he confuses her fears by encouraging her to arm and protect herself. Mason Verger suspects that his sister, Margot, is plotting to usurp him by getting pregnant with an heir. Hannibal reveals to Will how much Abigail reminded him of his sister, making it even harder for Will to understand why she had to die.”
As for our latest chapter of “what does the title mean,” “Ko No Mono” is a seasonal vegetable. Exciting? Well, we’ve already stated a few times on the “Hannibal” podcast in the past that we wish these titles were a little more distinguishable so that we could identify one episode from the others. Speaking of the podcasts, let us know if there’s anything from tonight’s episode you want to see addressed!
