‘Two and a Half Men’ season 11, episode 21 preview: Is Alan … proposing?
Alan Harper has been unlucky in love many times. As a matter of fact, he is also rather unlucky in marriage. Just remember what happened with either of his previous exes, and you’ll be reminded very well of why he and the altar are bad news.
In the promo for Thursday night’s “Two and a Half Men,” Alan may be doing the unthinkable: He’s asking someone else to marry him! Clearly, there are only two options for this right now in Gretchen and also Lyndsey, and they each have their own attributes they are bringing to the table. (Yes, we are seriously about to do a comparison on a “Two and a Half Men” article.)
- Lyndsey – She has the history on her side, but there is another oh-so-little problem known as the fact that she is already in another engagement with Larry. She may not love him fully (hey, she cheats), but the plan is to get married. Plus, Alan actually seems happy with how things have turned out for a change.
- Gretchen – The two have gotten along great, and she didn’t even have a problem with finding out that his real name was Alan Harper and not Jeff Strongman … but we wonder if Larry is going to feel the same way.
Let’s just say that the final two episodes will be largely about everyone figuring out what every sane person would have figured out a long time ago about Alan … and you also have the return of Clark Duke again, who we are already wondering if he will be getting some sort of promotion given how much of him we’ve seen as of late in what has actually been more of a Jake-replacement role than Amber Tamblyn’s Jenny.

I like Barry more than Jenny.
