‘The Amazing Race 24’ episode 10 preview: The Afghanimals turn the tables

If you think back on every other time that there has been a U-Turn on “The Amazing Race” over the past two seasons, there have been two racers who have constantly felt the burn: Leo & Jamal. The Afghanimals have been constantly pushed back thanks to the U-Turn, but hold the rare distinction at the moment of being the only team to ever be hit with this three times, and still find a way to survive.

On the next new episode of the show, they are actually going to be in a position of power for a change. Seemingly, they arrive to a U-Turn before anyone else, and they have to make a daunting decision as to who they want to pin with having to do two individual tasks. We know that hitting Brendon & Rachel with this is going to be a very easy thing to do, since the two of them are public enemy #1.

But, if we were in the does of Leo & Jamal, we’d really think about this and U-Turn the Cowboys. There are always going to be teams rallying against Brenchel, but Jet & Cord are the biggest threats to win the entire race. They are incredible in challenges, and while they often make mistakes when it comes to navigation, they still manage to make up for it and then some when it comes to tasks. Brendon & Rachel may still fall apart, and you can beat Dave & Connor and also Caroline & Jennifer in a foot race. There are plenty of options, but they’d be better off using it than leaving it in fate’s hands.
