‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5 spoilers: Series creator on 100th episode reveal

Even though the 100th episode of “Pretty Little Liars” may still be quite a stretch of time from airing, that doesn’t mean that we do not have any scoop to share yet! Creator Marlene King is doing her best to make you excited already, and she knows the right buttons to push: Promising that there could be some sort of major mystery finally revealed.

Speaking per Alloy Entertainment in an interview hyping up what lies ahead, the showrunner had the following to say in what definitely has us rather excited:

“I can tease that in our fifth episode, which is our 100th episode, a very big mystery will be solved … It will ask more questions, of course, but you will get closer to a mystery that PLLs have been talking about for one or two seasons.”

King more or less confirmed that this reveal is not going to be anything that has to do with the big reveal of who is “A,” but we didn’t expect that anyway. What we’d like to know for now is who tried to kill Alison. Given that she is not actually dead at this point, we really don’t feel like it would be that big of a deal to have some of this information now.

As for another reason why we need this resolved, it’s because we have a good one to take its place: Who in the world killed Alison’s mother? The easy prediction would be Alison’s murder, but nothing is ever as simple as it seems when it comes to this show.
