‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: A whole crew of upcoming guest stars

While we may know a thing or two about the immediate road ahead on “Glee,” things towards the end of the season are a little bit more unclear. Rachel Berry will open up “Funny Girl” in grand fashion, Mercedes will continue working on her album, and there will also be some interesting stuff regarding Blaine and Shirley MacLaine.

Unfortunately, this article is not about the “Downton Abbey” guest star or whatever else she could be up to on the series moving forward. Rather, this is about an assortment of other actors that are coming on board some upcoming episodes. According to a new report from E! News, some of the upcoming guest stars on the series are going to include a defense attorney, someone running an animal shelter, a series of reporters, nurses, and a woman who carries around a dog in her purse.

It’s easy to figure out what some of these could be linked to. For example, an animal shelter could revolve around a character getting a pet (which would be a nice story for the show to mix things up), while reporters could be asking Ariel all about “Funny Girl.” We just hope that the nurses are not some indication of another medical crisis, given that the show has really been through enough of these as is following what happened on the “Bash” episode of the series.
