‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3, episode 16 video: Is the end near for Zoe and Joel?

To say that “Hart of Dixie” season 3 has been polarizing so far would be one of the bigger understatements of the year. There have been many people who have continued to enjoy the light tone and the focus on some different faces in BlueBell; however, there have also been others unhappy that through most of the past 15 episodes, very little has happened to Zoe’s personal life save for being in a relationship with Joel and finding a house.

So is that changing Friday night? The first promo for “Carrying Your Love With Me” on the surface appears to be somewhat silly and innocent, but at the same time, it does make us wonder if the end is nigh for Josh Cooke on the show. Joel is now in California working on a movie project that is an adaptation of his work, and long-distance relationships can be trouble. (For Zoe, this even includes making suggestive videos of her to show to him halfway across the country.)

While this entire video could be fuel for Zoe / Wade fans, remember that he still has a relationship with Vivian Wilkes that has to be attended to. We also hope that if they do hook up, it’ll be after the end of their respective relationships. Even though we’ll gladly help fly the Zoe / Wade flag, we do like Joel as a character and don’t want to see him get smashed into pieces.
