ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: Emily, Victoria, and ‘it’s a trap!’

We wrote that title for all the hybrid “Revenge‘ – “Star Wars” fans out there, however many of you there are. There are, after all, so many traps that take place on this show regularly that even Admiral Ackbar would probably approve of some of them.

Now that we’ve said that, let’s move over to what sort of trap we’re talking about here. We’ve learned that the Sunday, April 13 episode of the show entitled “Allegiance” is going to feature Victoria trying to put one over on Emily, which is something that is a little of a “the tables have turned” moment. Traditionally, what we have seen on the show is more along the lines of Emily finding a way to screw over Victoria by making her think that she is the one with the power. Maybe that will still happen, but only time will tell.

The only thing that we can confirm for the time being is this oh-so-tiny official statement coming in courtesy of ABC:

“As Emily learns onto the identity of a key conspirator against her father, Victoria sets a trap she knows Emily can’t resist.”

Is it really too much to ask for there to be consequences to one of these traps at some point? This is one of the things that “Revenge” really does need to work on if it wants to claim a title of ‘buzz-worthy TV” that it actually once had. In the past there was actually awards discussion for at least Madeleine Stowe, but there has not been anything else of the variety since.
