‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: More news on Naya Rivera, Kristin Chenoweth, Lea Michele
The most-important episode of “Glee” this season is of course “The Quarterback,” and there is no way that this is going to be changing at any point in the near future. But with that being said, “New Directions” is probably the second-most important one, and in the top 5 when it comes to the most significant ones in the history of the show.
Why all the hype? It’s because this may as well be the series finale for McKinley High School. While it may still show up here and there, it’s not going to be a regular presence on the show anymore. We’re going to see the glee club ultimately shut down, despite the efforts of many … including a few notable guest stars. If you want to check out some more scoop on it, just take a look at the official synopsis below:
“As the fate of the glee club becomes a reality, April (guest star Kristin Chenoweth) and Holly (guest star Gwyneth Paltrow) plot a plan to save New Directions. Meanwhile, Rachel and Santana attempt to make amends after their blowout fight.”
Is this the same fight that they had earlier in the season? We hope not, since this is really not a situation that needs to last this long. Unfortunately, we feel like it could. Why is that? Think along the lines of the fact that Tuesday’s “City of Angels” is more than likely going to be McKinley-based, since it is revolving around the school group at Nationals. Following that, there is the 100th episode, and there are so many reunions and returns that need to be dealt with that it’s hard to say how much time that these characters are going to be given.
In the end, this is a big episode that will set us on the course for the rest of the series, and we just hope that it lives up to the hype. For now, we suggest that you just head over to the link here, where you can find out how to get some more news from our CarterMatt Newsletter.
