‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5, episode 17 preview: Kensi disappears; the hunt for a mole

We’re not going to bury the lead here at all when it comes to bad news pertaining to the next new episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles.” You’re going to be waiting for at least a little while to see more. The show will not be back with more new episodes for two more weeks. The next installment comes on March 18, and it’s one that may have fans of a certain character played by Daniela Ruah shaking in their boots a little bit.

What can we tell you about this story right now? See the following: The episode is entitled “Between the Lines,” and in addition to a possible disappearance from this character, the official synopsis suggests that there will also be some interesting stories ahead about a mole that needs to be tracked down before some terrible stuff happens to them:

“When an undercover agent is identified and executed by a local gang, the NCIS: Los Angeles team must locate the mole before other agents’ lives are put in danger. Meanwhile, Granger begins to worry when Kensi disappears in Afghanistan.”

Whatever happens here, you can at least be sure that there will not be a huge cliffhanger. We’ve heard already that Ruah is going to be a part of more episodes this season beyond this one, so that bodes well for her chances … at least in theory. After all, she still could be out there and just the victim of something terrible.
