‘Glee’ season 5, episode 11 preview: ‘City of Angels,’ and a tiny Heather Morris tease

There are two separate ways that you can really look at the promo for next week’s “Glee” episode entitled “City of Angels.” Either you can view it as a great opportunity to see a variety of different people return for Nationals, or you can ignore that part altogether and focus more on the second half of the promo, which is the first real tease for the 100th episode of the show. That featured a tiny look at the return of Heather Morris’ Brittany and many others. (You have to pause the promo to see Dianna Agron, but she is in there, as well.)

But given that we’ll have more on the 100th episode in a week or so, we figure it best to focus more on Nationals for now. To start that off, why not check out what Fox had to say in an official synopsis … even though it is not exactly revealing:

“The members of New Directions travel to sunny Los Angeles to compete in Nationals, and bring with them two very special guests.”

As for who these “special guests” may be, it’s really not that hard to figure out. Finn’s mom and Burt Hummel are featured in the photo above, and they would not be at Nationals this year unless otherwise invited. We don’t know if we can consider Mercedes to be the same sort of special guest, since she was already in Los Angeles and was hardly “brought” anywhere.

If nothing else, think of this episode as one of the last key components to moving the story permanently to the Big Apple.
