‘Glee’ season 5 song spoilers: Hear Adam Lambert, Lea Michele’s ‘Barracuda’
“Barracuda” is one of those songs that we imagine many Adam Lambert fans have been wanting him to sing for some time. It’s electric, fast-paced, fun, and emotional. Oh, and it also suits his voice very well.
So to find out that Adam is going to be performing the song on Tuesday night’s new episode of “Glee“? You have to celebrate that. The news that he was singing this song with Lea Michele was out several weeks ago, but there’s a difference between knowing that and then actually hearing the performance.
In case you are looking for some context here, what we know about this episode (entitled “Trio”) is that it features Lea’s character of Rachel Berry struggling to find a new place in the world. While she may have the role of her dreams on Broadway for “Funny Girl,” it has come at the expense of almost everyone else in her life. She and Santana are in the midst of a nuclear feud.
As for how Adam’s Starchild enters the mix here, it comes as a result of her going to him and requesting a place to stay. We do wonder what sort of digs this guy could have given we have heard very little about what he does outside of dressing up in fancy costumes and singing rock n’ roll; but then again, we are going to find out pretty soon.
This episode also features another appearance from Demi Lovato as Dani, but odds are we are not going to see nearly as much with her when it comes to story.
