‘Call the Midwife’ season 3, episode 7 preview: Jessica Raine and starting anew

Have you missed “Call the Midwife” greatly the past several days? Then odds are, you will be more than pleased to see it back on the air Sunday night. We are getting closer to the end of this season, and that means likely an opportunity to start to see a few characters come closer to some sort of ending / cliffhanger. The brevity of British shows is something that is appreciated when looking back at them, but at the same time, you still wish that they would give you more if at all possible.

This sneak peek from Sunday’s episode below focuses mostly on the return of Jessica Raine as Jenny, and how she is effectively trying to get back into the swing of things after departing for a while to heal and get herself back together after Alec’s sudden death. She has seemingly done that, and she is also reminded that she was very much missed during her time away.

Is it at all possible that Jenny finds love again on the show? We certainly think so, but at the same time, we would be very shocked if it were to happen at some point before the end of this season. There’s not really the time left to make an interesting story happen, and this may be a case where it is better off to wait for a time.
