‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7, episode 17 preview: Howard’s bad idea
Why in the world would Howard Wolowitz even consider hanging out with Sheldon to be a good idea? This is what we are wondering now after watching the latest promo for Thursday night’s new “Big Bang Theory” episode to be a good idea.
For some reason (maybe he lost a bet?) Howard thinks that he and Sheldon could be better friends, and so he invites him on a trip with him. This leads to the two parties getting on an airplane … and you know that is not going to end very well. Sheldon has many phobias, and gets annoyed when something is not to his desired specifications. Let’s just say that we feel like a plane is not going to feel very much like his signature “spot” in the slightest.
The promo doesn’t really give away too much other than the sort of fighting that you would expect from these two characters in this situation … and we expect this said fighting to be both frequent and funny. Howard is someone who has been to space at this point, so we cannot imagine him getting even remotely intimidated by going up in the sky in an airplane. Sheldon’s a different story, and he’s also suffered some “emotional trauma.” After all, he has to deal with the fact that Leonard bought a dining room table on the last new episode, and nearly forced him to sit and eat at it.
Let’s hope that you really enjoy this episode, given that we know later this month another likely hiatus is coming as we near the start of NCAA basketball season. That’s not something we would expect Sheldon to even remotely understand.
