‘Bates Motel’: A&E puts entire season 1 online before premiere

What's next? -Just in case you are exited to check in to the new season of “Bates Motel,” but want to play catch-up easily and without a whole lot of effort, A&E is giving you that opportunity … at least provided that you are subscribed to one of the largest cable providers in the country.

In an effort to allow for some viewers to catch up before the premiere Monday, all of the season 1 episodes are online at A&E’s website. Just validate your cable service and you’re good to go. There are only ten episodes in the first season, and the great news when it comes with that is that you should be able to binge-watch yourself to be ready for the premiere. This is not a situation like what you run into with a network show, where you have to get through anywhere between 22-24 episodes in order to be completely caught up.

Or, just in case you want an even quicker introduction to the new season, we can just provide you with the following: The biggest cliffhanger between seasons was that Miss Watson was killed off in the finale, and the show certainly made it appear as though the responsible party was none other than Norman Bates. However, we have learned time and time again when it comes to this show that not everything can be taken at face value (remember that she was fighting earlier that day on the phone with a man named Eric). You will learn more about Watson’s death early on in the premiere, and you will also see a grief-stricken Norman trying to deal with it. It’s also possible that another murder suspect could turn up.
