‘Game of Thrones’ season 4 spoilers: Gwendoline Christie on future of Brienne

Doesn’t everyone want to see Brienne have some sort of happiness on “Game of Thrones“? She is such a likable character in so many ways that it is hard not to. You genuinely want to see her succeed, and to find her way in the world despite all the difficult circumstances that are put before her … and there really are quite a few of them. She’s a woman who looks different from the average woman, and she also works a profession that is continually dominated by men.

But moving forward, there could be some tough times facing the character. While she and Jaime Lannister did complete their travels, the problem that comes now is finding where she fits in the world. Will Jaime still want to keep her around, or migrate more to his sister / lover? While we know that Brienne and he never had a romantic relationship, it was still a bond that is pretty irreplaceable.

So what could we see from this character in the future? While Gwendoline Christie was not able to offer up a great deal of detail to MTV UK in a recent interview promoting the show’s third-season DVD, she did say that there is “great, great hardship” that she will be tested with the rest of the episodes ahead. Hasn’t she already been tested enough? Apparently not, and the one thing that you have to remember when it comes to this show is that they really don’t have any interest at all in being forgiving. They will torment you regardless of whether you are good or bad.
