‘Arrow’ season 2: Stephen Amell shares video from ‘biggest fight in TV history’
Is there any actor who gives back to the fans in the same way that Stephen Amell does? It’s been interesting to watch the guy over the past couple of years shoulder the responsibility of being a TV star so comfortably. Remember that he came on “Arrow” at a time when everyone was skeptical and thinking that Justin Hartley should get the part, and he won them over almost immediately and has never looked back. (We’ve also been to two of his Fan Expo panels, and the way he communicates with the fans is with humor and honesty.)
But in particular, the reason that we’re talking about him today is because of a new video that he shared with “Arrow” fans over the week, featuring him and show fight-master James Bamford preparing for what they claim (perhaps with more than a smidgen of hyperbole) will be the “biggest fight in TV history.” This video includes a warehouse, choreography, lots of stunt guys, and also some imagination so that you can picture the action unfolding on the show itself.
Amell says that when this fight actually airs on “Arrow” later this season, you’ll have an idea almost instantly as to why he has labeled this the biggest fight in TV history. There are still a number of episodes coming up the rest of the way, and while we know that the wait for February 26 is pretty long (especially since you are more accustomed to getting new episodes in this month), we imagine that it’ll be worth it. After all, Robert Knepper will be guest-starring!
Some of the other good stuff that you can expect moving forward this season includes some more battles between Oliver and Sebastian Blood, Slade Wilson making his intentions even clearer, and Laurel Lance trying to figure out her feelings thanks to the realization that Sara is actually alive.
