‘The Good Wife’ season 5 spoilers: Who replaced Peter Florrick?
When Peter Florrick stepped into his prestigious position in the Governor’s office, there was of course a chain reaction that came along with that. Someone had to replace him within the world of “The Good Wife” as the Cook County State’s Attorney, and while there may not be a pressing need to see a ton of them, it does make a little sense that they would show up at some point.
It is with this in mind that we present the latest bit of casting scoop when it comes to the show. According to a brand-new report from E! News, John Leguizamo is set to join the show for an episode in the replacement role. There is not too much known about the character for the time being, save that he is a guy who does have a vested interest in trying to ensure that everything is fair, and that there is no one who feels like he is doing a job unworthy of the office.
Of course, the former “ER” actor is joining what is probably the most impressive array of guest stars out of any show on TV. There is just so much to like here really from start to finish, whether you are talking about someone like Nathan Lane or someone like Michael J. Fox. We already know that the latter is going to appear in multiple episodes at the end of the season in the role of Louis Canning, which has to be considered worth celebrating no matter how you slice it.
