‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: What’s next with Sharleen Joynt, Juan Pablo Galavis’ date?

On this season of “The Bachelor,” there is really not that much in the way of drama compared to years past. While there are a few controversial things that have happened, there is no Tierra LiCausi that everyone in the house hates, or a Courtney Robertson who really makes no effort at all to come across as endearing.

So what do we have instead? Well, really a good bit of drama centered around Sharleen Joynt and her relationship with Juan Pablo Galavis. It started rocky, with her being hesitant to take the First Impression Rose. From there, it has only continued to be rocky almost every step of the way.

Well, we know that they will have some more time together Monday to figure out whether or not there is a future here, and you can see a few teasers of what is coming in this portion from ABC’s synopsis below:

“Juan Pablo personally delivers the first date card to one surprised woman – Sharleen – and lets her know that she has a one-on-one date in his hometown. Things heat up on board a private yacht as the two snuggle and share passionate kisses and red-hot chemistry. Their date continues on a private island which only enhances the connection between the two. Is love blooming or will something get in the way of this blossoming romance?”

The first thing that we find hilarious here? ABC trying to actually tell you that there really is some sort of “blossoming romance” here, when it’s really more along the lines of Juan Pablo having a ton of feelings for Sharleen, and the feelings not being entirely reciprocated. It’s not necessarily that we think that she is trying to be a jerk to him, but if the feelings aren’t there, they just aren’t there. Hopefully, this will be the episode that she leaves if she really isn’t feeling anything. Otherwise, we really don’t see her going home before third place. She, Nikki Ferrell, and Clare Crawley are in our eyes the big frontrunners. They are the only three women who have spent substantial time with him (as in more than one individual date as of Monday), and that means something.
