‘Game of Thrones’ season 4 video: Get a behind-the-scenes look at production design
Can we all sit here for a moment and mentally thank HBO for the amount of effort they put into “Game of Thrones“? It is not often that a network really puts the time into actually making sure that you know and care about every little element of production, and even some of the people working behind the scenes.
In the new video below released by the network, one of the first things that may stand out to you is that there is a new person in charge of production design in Deborah Riley. That in turn gives the show potentially a little bit of a different feel in that department, but we don’t anticipate any big changes. Everyone knows the sort of tone that the series is meant to have already, and we really cannot see there being anyone who is going to come in and then intentionally try to shift or change things to make it more difficult on anyone else.
The production of “Game of Thrones” season 4 is technically already complete, so Riley and the rest of the on-set crew can now sit back and breathe a little bit of a sigh of relief. The work that is now being done is mostly in the hands of the hard-working folks in post-production, who are ensuring that almost everything is both set and ready to go for Sunday, April 6, which is the show’s return date to AMC.
