‘Conan’ stages big ‘Walking Dead’ interview with Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, more
This week is turning out to be quite a big one when it comes to interviews. We have the departure of Jay Leno from “The Tonight Show” on Thursday night, where he will feature the likes of Billy Crystal and Garth Brooks. Meanwhile, this same night is going to feature the grand return of Matt Damon to “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” and over on “Conan,” there is pretty much going to be a “Walking Dead” party.
The late-night host has interviewed and done things with a number of cast members before, and the roster that is out there for the show Thursday night is impressive. The likes of Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, Steven Yeun, Melissa McBride, and Danai Gurira are all going to be around to chat about what is going to be coming up around the bend for the show. Also, they’ll probably do a few things to make us laugh. (Reedus in particular has already done that.)
What is most interesting about this? Probably the inclusion of McBride, given that we don’t even fully know when we are going to see Carol on the show ever again. It is going to happen at some point over the final eight episodes, but it’s not exactly a situation where we are going to see her turn up right away and assist everyone with their latest batch of terrible circumstances. (We say “latest” because it seems like these people are always facing off with one horrible thing or another.)
